If Sethji was the founder, Bhaiji (Shri Hanuman Prasad Ji Poddar) was the devoted soul who nurtured Kalyan magazine and Gita Press for 45 continuous years, transforming them into beloved institutions that touched millions of lives across India.
Bhaiji served as the founding editor of Kalyan with extraordinary dedication throughout his lifetime (approximately 45 years). Through his writings and editorial direction, he guided millions of ordinary Indians on the path of bhakti (devotion), gyana (knowledge), and vairagya (renunciation), without ever claiming personal credit or seeking followers.
His spiritual correspondence with thousands of readers gave Kalyan its warm, personal character. He was accessible to ordinary people in a way that elevated saints rarely are, answering letters patiently, offering spiritual guidance rooted in scripture but grounded in everyday life.
After Bhaiji's passing, the tradition of Kalyan was continued with equal dedication by: Shri Chimanlal Ji Goswami, Brahmaleen Swami Shri Ramsukhdas Ji Maharaj, Shri Motilal Ji Jalan, Padma Bhushan Shri Radheshyam Ji Khemka, and Shri Premkash Ji Lakkad, all maintaining the same spirit of pure, selfless service.
